We're looking for a Sales & Project Development Associate to support our Project Developer and help guide clients through the design and estimating phases of the remodeling process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's eager to grow within the residential construction industry while learning how projects move from concept to construction. The right person is detail-oriented, proactive, loves to sell, and genuinely enjoys helping people bring their vision to life. This role is also a pathway to a Project Developer (Sales) position within the company.

The Sales & Project Development Associate plays a key role in supporting project development and ensuring clients have a smooth experience from their first consultation through to construction handoff. You'll collaborate closely with the Project Developer, Design, and Production teams, handling communication, organization, and coordination to keep projects moving efficiently. As you learn the process, you'll gain valuable insight into estimating, client care, and the sales cycle within a high-performing residential remodeling company, and be able to take on increasing responsibility and opportunity for commissions as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Developer with lead management, client communication, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing project scopes, budgets, and proposals using JobTread.
- Coordinate with design, estimating, and production teams to gather project details.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and design discussions.
- Maintain accurate records, notes, and task updates within JobTread.
- Help follow up with clients and trade partners to keep project development moving forward.
- Participate in after-hours networking as required by the company annual marketing plan to build and grow relationships in the community.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment built on collaboration and accountability.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic, driven, and motivated by the thrill of helping clients.
- Some experience in residential construction / remodeling industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Eager to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive with follow-through.
- Familiarity with project management or CRM tools (JobTread experience a plus).
- Professional in appearance, communication, and client interactions.

- You continue developing your understanding of remodeling, estimating, and client service, laying the foundation for advancement.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 Employee position.
- Base salary plus commission. This is a salaried position with additional commission opportunities; it is not commission-only. Base Salary 40K + Commission. Potential earnings up to 125k
- PTO: 2 weeks to start; additional PTO after 2 years (must follow Time Away Preparedness Procedure).
- Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving + Friday after, Christmas Day, and half-day Christmas Eve (when applicable).
- Retirement: SIMPLE IRA with 3% company match after 90 days.
- Health Insurance: Employee premium covered up to $500/month.
